Showdown Saloon Gameplay
As stated above, the slot is played on 5 reels, 3 rows and offers 15 paylines. The atmospheric saloon feeling is present in every spin and you will see everything on the reels that can be found in a saloon.
The higher paying symbols are represented by things like colts, dice, whiskey and whatnot, while the lower paying symbols are card values from 10 to Ace, as they so often are.
Read on below and click on any of the sections to learn more about the special features of this slot.
Wild Symbol
The Wild Symbol is represented by a hand of playing cards (and a straight, no less) with the green word ‘Wild’ written over it.
As per usual, the wild symbol will replace every other symbol except the Scatter to form winning combinations.
Free Spins
To trigger the free spins, you’ll need full stacks of the free spin symbol. The full stacks need to be adjacent to each other and they only count starting from the leftmost reel. You can earn the following amounts of free spins:
- 3 stacks will award you 5 free spins
- 4 stacks will give you 10 free spins with a 2x multiplier
- 5 stacks will get you a total of 15 free spins with a 3x multiplier
It’s not that easy to get full stacks of a symbol, so making your way to the free spin round is actually a big deal. Almost like winning a duel!
Re-Spin Feature
If you manage to land matching full stacks of a symbol, there’s a chance that the re-spin feature will get triggered.
The matching full symbol stacks have to land on the middle three reels. The triggering stacks will be locked in place during the feature while the other reels re-spin. If a new full stack of matching symbols lands, a new re-spin will be triggered.
After five matching full stacks have landed, there won’t be another re-spin. Too bad!
Mystery Stack
Each reel in the game has a stack of mystery symbols. If a stack of mystery symbol lands, a single game symbol will replace the mystery symbols, which are represented by game chips.
The mystery symbols can even be replaced by the free spin symbol, so you’ll want to look out for those!
